Cate Havstad-Casad is a first-generation farmer, designer, and agricultural advocate who has built three impact-driven businesses over nine years.

Cate is the founder of Havstad Hat Company, creating custom pieces for Post Malone, Shania Twain, and Kacey Musgraves. In 2014, she and her husband started farming on 5 leased acres in Madras, Oregon. Casad Family Farms now manages 1,400 acres using regenerative practices to raise vegetables, hay, grains, cattle, and hogs. After losing 80% of their irrigation to drought, they pivoted to direct-to-consumer regenerative meat.

This experience inspired Range Revolution in 2021—a regenerative leather company using traceable American cattle hides from verified regenerative ranches.
