This year-end giving season, we're inviting you to support the pieces of WIR's work that resonate most deeply with you.
From Indigenous-centered programming to scholarships that remove financial barriers, from community-led workshops to the operations that keep everything running — each funding area serves a specific purpose and creates real impact.

General Fund
This is the work that doesn't always show up in photos or program summaries: answering questions, coordinating logistics, telling stories, building systems, and keeping the team running.
The General Fund sustains everything WIR does — from expanding our offerings to hiring the people who make it all happen. It's the backbone.
Your gift supports: Team growth, new programming, storytelling and outreach, day-to-day operations, and the flexibility to respond to what the community needs most.

Rooted In The Land
For Indigenous women, by Indigenous women
RITL centers Indigenous women's expertise, leadership, and ancestral connection to the land. Through gatherings shaped by and for each community — both virtual and in-person — we create space for knowledge transfer, skill development, and cultural continuity.
This work honors the whole person. Our "Whole Woman Care" approach recognizes that thriving means tending to physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health.
Your gift supports: Gatherings that strengthen Indigenous women's leadership in agriculture, protect Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and foster healing for participants and the landscapes they steward. Learn More about the program here
Community ReGrant
The Re-Grant Initiative moves resources directly to women leading skill-building workshops and grassroots projects across the country. We evaluate proposals, identify emerging needs, and fund efforts that strengthen agricultural knowledge and community capacity.
In 2025, applications far exceeded available funding. Women are ready to teach — they have the experience, the vision, and the commitment. What they need is backing.
Your gift supports: Workshops led by women in their own communities, practical skill-building and leadership development for the next generation of land stewards. 2025 Regrant Recipients.
