WIR Co-Host Program
2025 Applications are open through July 15th, 2025
Applicants will be notified on July 25th, 2025
WIR is excited to redistribute resources to the soil surface and amplify the leaders within this growing community. We created this initiative to redistribute donations we raised during the fundraising season to individuals or smaller projects outside of WIR’s regular programming. The funds will go to supporting women in the community as they lean into leadership with a specific focus on skill-building workshops.
WIR will identify, evaluate and redistribute grants to projects that meet the growing needs voiced by the community.
Framework
Program Delivery and Leadership
Grant recipients are responsible for:
Designing and delivering the core content of the workshop or event.
Defining leadership roles and organizing pre-event meetings for workshop development.
Ensuring the program aligns with the vision and goals outlined in the grant application.
Registration and Participant Management
Setting up and managing registration for the event.
Serving as the main point of contact for logistics and answering participant questions.
Budget Management
Creating a detailed budget for the success of the workshop.
Utilizing WIR’s financial sponsorship effectively and providing transparency in how funds are allocated.
Securing additional local sponsorships or partnerships, if needed, to supplement WIR’s support.
Event Logistics and Execution
Managing on-the-ground logistics, such as securing a venue, organizing catering, and handling day-of responsibilities.
Communicating updates or potential challenges to WIR in a timely manner.
Post-Event Reporting
Providing WIR with a brief summary of the event’s outcomes (no more than 1 page), including participant feedback, successes, and lessons learned.
A short interview with WIR’s communications team to be used as an event recap for WIR marketing.
Sharing photos, testimonials, post-event surveys or key highlights that can be used for future promotions or reports.

Support Skill-Building and Shared Leadership
Your donation helps seed new possibilities for women, not just through funding, but through access, skill-building, and peer-led leadership opportunities.
When farmers and ranchers are equipped with tools to share their stories and knowledge, they step more fully into their power. These are not one-time donations, but long-term investments in the capacity of women to lead, connect, and shape the systems they are part of.
Like pollinators in motion, this work spreads — rancher to rancher, community to community. Your support helps grow a distributed network of knowledge, confidence, and opportunity.
Help us cultivate the conditions where women in agriculture don’t just survive, they thrive, together.
