Confluence 2026
March 13-14 Paicines Ranch, California
Created during the long days of the COVID-19 pandemic to support our community, this virtual event has since shifted to an annual in-person gathering. Over several days, the WIR team, guest speakers, facilitator and educators guide participants on a shared journey to increase our collective hope and impact as women who care for our land and rural communities, creating an incredible platform for women’s skills, knowledge and expertise to be front and center.
Each day at the Confluence, we weave a tapestry of connection and stretch our imaginations with inspiring keynotes, creative moments, networking sessions, and plenty of practical education.
The first four Confluence gatherings had all been virtual, which allowed us to bring an immensely diverse group of participants and speakers from around the country. Especially during the pandemic, a virtual Confluence enabled us to gather from afar and join together in community when the world felt like an isolating place for many.
With in person, we have ample opportunities to share wisdom and experiences over coffee, meals, and time spent together on the land. We believe the energy of gathering together in-person ignites a fire within all of us and deepens our connections to one another and our individual work.
